How to read it
A big number means a big company more often than a hot team. Accenture and Amazon post across hundreds of offices, so they lead most weeks. Two things are more useful than the raw rank:
- The change. Each company page shows new roles by week. A company going from 20 to 80 a week is more interesting than one steady at 600.
- The mix. Company pages break open roles down by team. Amazon's, on October 18, had 5,362 open in engineering and 3,867 in data and AI.
Defense and aerospace (Northrop Grumman, RTX, Boeing, Leidos, Blue Origin, Airbus, Anduril) take seven of the top 20 this week. Some of those roles need US citizenship or a clearance, so read the posting before you apply.
Other roles
The same weekly list exists for product managers, data scientists, analysts and AI engineers, designers and marketers. For what was posted today, see new jobs in the last 24 hours.
Checking one company
Search for it on /companies. Each page answers: is it hiring right now, how many roles are new this week, which teams, where, how many closed in the last 30 days, whether it raised money recently and whether it's likely to sponsor an H-1B.
Questions
Where does this data come from?
From each company's own careers site on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday, plus Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft and Netflix, read every hour or two. No job boards in between.
Why does a company I know is hiring not appear?
It may use a careers site we don't read yet, or it posted fewer roles than the 25th company this week. Its company page, if it has one, still shows its numbers.
How often does the list change?
The 7-day count moves every few hours as new roles come in. This guide is a snapshot from October 18, 2026.
