Tools that pull jobs straight from company career pages
The main tools that pull jobs straight from company career pages are HiringCafe (a large free search engine), JobRadar (fast alerts from about 5,000 career pages), JobAlert (hourly emails for companies you pick), SimplifyJobs' GitHub lists (curated new-grad and internship roles), TheirStack (job-posting data for sales teams) and Find your role first (13,000+ career sites, searchable newest first or through your AI agent). Which one fits depends on whether you want to browse, get alerts, or have an agent do the looking.
Here's an honest rundown, including where each one beats us.
| Tool | What it is | Best for | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| HiringCafe | Job search engine with over 5 million listings and AI filters | Browsing a huge pool with good filters | Free |
| JobRadar | Alerts from 5,000+ career pages, under a minute on average | Being first on tech roles at companies it covers | Free in beta |
| JobAlert | Watches the companies you choose, emails hourly | A fixed list of target companies | 30-day trial, then paid |
| SimplifyJobs on GitHub | Community-maintained lists of new-grad and internship roles | Students and new grads | Free |
| TheirStack | Job-posting and tech-stack data for sales and research | Data and API access, not job hunting | Paid |
| Find your role first | 13,000+ career sites, newest first, in a console or through Claude Code and Codex | Searching every new role by title and place, or letting an agent watch | Free for 200 roles in 30 days, then $9 a month |
HiringCafe
The biggest free option. It collects listings from company sites and has strong filters for salary, experience and remote work. If you like browsing, start here.
JobRadar
Built for speed: it watches about 5,000 career pages and says it alerts you in under a minute on average. If the companies you want are in its list, it's very hard to beat on timing.
JobAlert
You pick the companies and it checks their career pages hourly, emailing you when a role appears or disappears. Simple and precise, and a good fit when you already know your target list.
SimplifyJobs' GitHub lists
Community-maintained lists of new-grad and internship openings, updated constantly and followed by a huge share of CS students. Not a search tool, but if you're a student it's a must-watch.
TheirStack
Mostly a sales tool: it tracks job postings to find companies hiring for, or using, particular technologies. Useful if you want raw job data through an API, less so for finding your next role.
Find your role first
That's us. We read more than 13,000 company career sites, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday boards plus Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft and Netflix, every two to six hours, and record when each role first appeared. You can see today's new roles by category on the live pages, search everything newest first with several titles and places at once, filter by the experience a posting asks for, or connect Claude Code or Codex over MCP and let your agent ask what's new.
Where we're weaker: we check every few hours rather than every minute, and we don't apply for you.
Questions
Why use a career-page tool instead of LinkedIn?
Roles appear on company sites first, and the dates are honest. On job boards a repost can look brand new, and some roles never show up at all.
Is there an MCP server for job search?
Yes. Find your role first runs one at https://findyourrolefirst.click/mcp, so Claude Code, Codex or any MCP client can search new roles directly. See the docs.
Are these tools free?
HiringCafe and SimplifyJobs' lists are free, JobRadar is free while in beta, Find your role first is free for 200 roles in your first 30 days, and JobAlert and TheirStack are paid after a trial.
