Which sites show jobs posted today?

A few kinds, each with its own tradeoff.

The first row is the source for everything else. The problem is that checking it by hand stops working at about ten companies.

How can I tell if a job posting is actually new?

This is the part that trips people up. The date on a listing and the day it went live aren't always the same.

Some boards show an older date on a role that only just appeared. Some roles get reposted and pick up a fresh date. Copies on other sites can show the date they collected it rather than the date the company posted it.

So look for a first seen time from something that checks the board on a schedule. Find your role first keeps two times on every role: the publication date the company gives, and the date the feed first discovered it. For "what's new today," the discovery date is the more honest answer.

A quick manual check helps too. Open the company's own careers page. If the role is there and the apply link works, it's live. If it's gone, it's closed, whatever the copy says.

What's the fastest way to see new postings every day?

Let an agent ask for you. With a feed connected to Claude Code or Codex, the morning check is one sentence:

Show me UX researcher roles in the US discovered in the last 24 hours, newest first.
Open the top ten postings and tell me which ones are senior.

The agent calls search_jobs with a discovered_since filter, gets short records (title, company, location, both dates, the posting link and the apply link, closed status), then opens the promising postings with its own web tool to read them. The feed doesn't include descriptions, so the agent always reads the company's current page.

Because checks are staggered across each two hour window, new roles land all day. Dozens every hour, out of about 250,000 open roles. Running the same check at lunch will often turn up a few more.

Is it worth checking more than once a day?

For most people, once is enough. If you're chasing roles that fill quickly, a second check in the afternoon is cheap here: roles you've already seen that month are free to re-read, and empty searches are free. Only roles new to you count, 3,000 a month and up to 1,000 a day on the $9 plan.

What about companies that don't use Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby?

They won't be in this feed. To be fair, that's a lot of large employers, especially outside tech. For those, a job board's date filter or the company's own careers page is still the way to go, and it pairs fine with a feed for the tech companies and startups.
