Companies that sponsor H-1B and are hiring right now

To find companies that sponsor H-1B visas and are hiring right now, you need two things side by side: the company's sponsorship history from USCIS, and the roles open on its own careers site today. Sponsor lists only give you the first half. Find your role first puts both on every company page, so you can check one company in a few seconds.

Why sponsor lists aren't enough

Every H-1B list you'll find is built from government data that looks backward. The USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub counts petitions approved per employer for a fiscal year. The Department of Labor's LCA disclosure files show which employers filed for which job titles and wages.

Both are real and useful. Neither tells you whether that company has an opening for your role this week. A company that sponsored 300 engineers in 2023 might have a hiring freeze now, and a company with a new office might be posting 50 roles a day.

How to check one company properly

  1. Look up its approvals. On the USCIS hub, search the employer's legal name. Big companies often file under several entities, so Amazon shows up as AMAZON COM SERVICES LLC and AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC.
  2. Look at what it's hiring for now. Go to the company's own careers site. That's where a role goes live first.
  3. Read the posting. Many now say "no sponsorship" plainly. If a posting is silent, ask on the first recruiter call.

Or open the company's page here, which does all three in one place. Amazon's page, for example, shows 21,058 open roles as of October 18, 2026, 2,327 of them new in the last 7 days, and below that: USCIS approved 5,708 H-1B petitions for Amazon in fiscal year 2023, 312 for new employment and 5,396 continuing.

What "likely to sponsor" means here

A company page says Likely to sponsor when USCIS approved at least 5 H-1B petitions under that company's name in fiscal 2023, and it names the exact filer so you can check it yourself.

It's a history, not a promise for any one role. A team that sponsors engineers may not sponsor analysts, so filter by your own title in the LCA data if it matters.

When there's no match, the page says so and says why that isn't a no. Notion's page, for instance, reads: no clear H-1B history under Notion's name in USCIS's fiscal 2023 data. Newer companies and employers that file under a different legal name simply aren't in that file.

New grad and internship roles

The two public GitHub lists, new grad jobs and summer 2027 internships, mark likely sponsors with ๐Ÿ›‚ next to each role. They refresh every hour and link Apply straight to the company.

Questions

Is there a list of every company that sponsors H-1B and is hiring?

Not one you should trust as a yes or no. Sponsorship depends on the role, the team and the year. Check the company's history, then the posting.

What's the difference between new and continuing approvals?

New employment is a first H-1B with that employer. Continuing covers extensions and amendments for people already there. A high new-employment count is the better sign for someone applying from outside.

Does STEM OPT need anything special from the employer?

Yes. For the STEM OPT extension the employer has to be enrolled in E-Verify. E-Verify has a public employer search.
