Accenture posts 2,493 roles as overall hiring dips 1%

Companies posted 104,821 new roles in the 7 days to November 01, 2026. This total is a 1% decrease compared to the previous week, based on the same companies we track. We added 10 new companies to our coverage this week.

Accenture led all companies with 2,493 new roles, up from 2,159 last week. Amazon posted 2,146 roles, a slight increase from 2,098. EY, RTX, and Bank of America also ranked among the top posters.

Engineering was the most active team, with 15,860 new roles. Accenture, Amazon, and Northrop Grumman were top companies hiring for engineering. Data and AI followed with 11,575 new roles, with Accenture and Amazon also leading in this area.

Destination Careers saw the largest jump in new roles, posting 390 compared to 17 the previous week. Trugreen increased its postings from 4 to 269, and Toward went from 3 to 216 new roles.

Example roles include Custom Software Engineer at Accenture, Safety Engineer at Amazon, and Technology Consulting - Forward Deployed Engineer - Senior at EY. Other roles were Senior Systems Engineer at RTX and Assistant Vice President/Vice President, Software Engineer at Bank of America.

This week's numbers suggest a slight cooling in overall hiring, with specific companies and technical teams continuing to show strong demand. Job hunters may find more opportunities in engineering and data-related fields next week.
