Companies posted 23,315 new roles in the 24 hours to 00:00 UTC on October 08, 2026. This is a 7% decrease from the previous day, based on the same companies. A total of 3,699 companies posted new roles.

Amazon led with 665 new roles, up from 415 the previous day. EY posted 443 roles, an increase from 297. Truist showed a notable jump, posting 363 roles compared to 46 the day before.

Engineering remained the largest team for new roles with 3,427 postings. Data and AI followed with 2,459 roles, and Sales had 1,611. Finance, legal and people teams posted 1,353 new roles.

Example roles include a "Warehouse Procurement Manager, AWS Cloud Logistics" at Amazon, a "Junior Recruitment Coordinator" at EY, and a "Senior Relationship Banker" at Truist. Hewlett Packard Enterprise posted for a "Named Accounts Manager - Networking."

This reading of the numbers suggests a slight reduction in overall posting volume compared to the previous day. However, several companies continue to post at higher rates, particularly in specific sectors.
