New roles up 20%: 25,151 jobs from existing companies

Companies posted 25,151 new roles in the last 24 hours, a 20% increase compared to the previous day from the same companies. Overall, 25,155 new roles appeared across 3,828 companies.

Walmart saw a jump to 202 new roles from 73 the previous day. Abbott also increased, posting 181 new roles compared to 53. Other companies with notable increases include JLL and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Amazon, Accenture, and EY continued to post high volumes of roles. Specific examples include a Principal Solutions Architect, AGS Automotive & Manufacturing at Amazon, and a Research Engineer, Biosecurity, DeepMind at Google.

Engineering led all teams with 3,462 new roles, followed by Data and AI with 2,707. Sales and Finance, legal and people also showed significant activity.

A reading of these numbers suggests an increase in hiring momentum this week, particularly in technology and consulting sectors. Job seekers might find more opportunities in Engineering and Data and AI roles.
